MIKE SCOTT began DJ'ing at age 16 in the legendary nightclub scene of New Orleans. Mike has worked across the globe playing hundreds of clubs, touring with the Dave Chappell Comedy Tour and opening for acts such as Digable Planets, Nelly, Moby and Kid Rock.

In his career, Mike has called sixteen cities home at some point including Chicago, Phoenix, Atlanta, Cleveland, St. Louis, and Cancun, Mexico. While aggressively displaying his talents at premier Nightclubs, he quickly took over residency DJ positions in these different markets.

Kansas City nightlife was changed forever and the bar raised with the opening of ultra-hip nightclub & lounge BLONDE on the Country Club Plaza and resident DJ, Mike Scott. With an ongoing rotation of well-known celebrity DJ's through BLONDE, Mike continued to elevate his talent and is well known in DJ circles nationally. While working as the Director of Music Programming for BLONDE, the venue was recognized as an industry "trend-setter" with a feature in the July 2007 issue of Nightclub & Bar Magazine as well as being awarded the distinguished "Top 100" designation in 2008, the only annual list identifying top nightclub & bar operators in the country.

Mike is the Official DJ of the MLS's SPORTING KANSAS CITY & LIVESTRONG SPORTING PARK , currently holds residencies at MOSAIC & THE JONES in the Power & Light District (Kansas City) and continues to be the most requested DJ in the city for premier events.

When not working or spending time in the studio with DJ Spinstyles on their newest collaboration,THE JUKEBOX HEROES, Mike moonlights as the only BILLBOARD MUSIC Reporter for the Midwest. With the backing of Billboard Music, Mike will continue to have the freshest and newest tracks around.
